The Zimbabwe Youth Biodiversity Network (ZYBN) is inviting all (young) people to participate in the #Youth4Earth2020 Campaign. In honor of Earth Day (which should really be every day), we think it’s high time we all get involved and work together. We really can make a collective positive difference in the amount of damage we are doing to the planet. Our aim is to get people to do simple actions which we hope will turn into everyday action. We believe that doing small simple actions count and that we can still make this planet a beautiful place, and hopefully save it from impending doom. The choices we each make today are important.
HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO
Participate online in any of the following categories;
#CATEGORY ONE: The Coolest Commute.
Cut down your CO2 emissions in style. Use the hashtags #Youth4Earth2020 & #ZYBN and post a photo or video of your carpool, rail, bus, bike or walking route on public Instagram or Twitter or Facebook.
#CATEGORY TWO: Sustainable All-Star.
Show how you reduce, reuse, or recycle. Use the hashtags #Youth4Earth2020 & #ZYBN and post a photo or a video of your favorite sustainable solutions on public Instagram or Twitter or Facebook.
#CATEGORY THREE: The Most Lovable Tree Hug.
Show your appreciation for our greenhouse gas reducing friends. Use the hashtags #Youth4Earth2020 & #ZYBN and post a photo or video of you and your favorite tree hugging it out on public Instagram or Twitter or Facebook.
