Our Current and Upcoming GYBN Brazil Projects:

Ecological Trail project: Implementation of a future mangrove-guided ecological trail project in Maranhão.

Afforestation project: The urban afforestation project is underway in different cities of Brazil in partnership with the NGO, Engajamundo.

GYBN Brazilian Chapter Officialization Workshop: We are planning a workshop to officially launch the GYBN Brazilian chapter. The example of GYBN Colombia has given us this inspiration.
Our Past Projects:

Meeting of the Engajamundo Biodiversity Working Group: This meeting took place in the city of São Paulo. This event was funded and planned by GYBN to enable young NGO Engajamundo volunteers to work with effective strategies to focus politically on the UN Conference on Biological Diversity (August 2017)

GYBN's Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Workshop: The GYBN LAC workshop took place in Ilha do Cardoso, Brazil. The purpose was to strengthen the GYBN LAC network of members with training and capacity-building to support the visions and goals of the UN Conference on Biological Diversity (2019).

Climate change and biodiversity capacity-building workshops: These workshops on climate change and Brazilian biodiversity were held in different cities in Brazil, in partnership with Engajamundo, conducted both online and in person.
